mec is introducing the next step in the Navimec™ concept. The new version is a "Plug & Play" module where the switches are placed on a small PCB with a connector.

The PCB has four mounting holes, one in each corner, for easy attachment to the front panel. All you need is to make a Ø 35.0-35.5 mm panel cut-out. Only the Navimec™ keys goes through the front panel and provides excellent functionality.

The Navimec™ line provides joystick functionality based on five discrete/separate pushbutton switches. Navimec™ is designed for PCB mounting with switches type multimec® 3A and 3F. They are available both as SMT and TH versions as well as in low or high temperature versions. The caps are specifically designed with a hi-tech look in many different colours.

Iluminated Navimec™
The illuminated Navimec™ is designed for PCB mounting with switches illumec™ 4A and 4F offering a very bright illumination and a good tactile feel. Illumec™ is available in SMD and TH, has 10 million operations life time and sealing exceeding IP67. The keycaps are specifically designed with a hi-tech look and a soft touch finish obtained by elastomer coating.
